Where we started
Solid Foam Solutions began in Nebraska in 2020 as a family business with a simple idea: insulation work should be priced fairly, explained honestly and finished cleaner than the crew found it. Thomas Rizza runs the company as owner and operator, which means the person who walks your attic during the assessment is connected directly to the person who stands behind the finished job.
Nebraska taught us insulation from the cold side. Long winters, frozen pipes, wind pushing through every gap in a wall. Arizona turned the problem around. Here the enemy is heat pouring down through the roof for five or six months a year, and an air conditioner that never gets a break. The physics is the same in both places: stop the air leaks, slow the heat, and the building gets easier to live in and cheaper to run.
Arizona, Nebraska and wherever the job is
Today we work in both states. Our Arizona base is in Chandler, and we are relocating to Phoenix, so the whole metro is close to home: Mesa, Gilbert, Tempe, Scottsdale, Glendale, Peoria, Queen Creek, San Tan Valley and the neighborhoods between them.
We still work in Nebraska, and we travel across the United States for projects that are the right fit. If you are a builder, a property manager or a business owner with a building outside Arizona, call and tell us about it. We will be straight with you about whether it makes sense for both of us.

How we work
Every job follows the same path, whether it is a single garage or a commercial roof.
A free consultation and assessment
We come out, look at the building and listen to what is going wrong. We check what insulation is there now, how it was installed, where the air is leaking and what the roof deck or wall framing looks like.
A detailed proposal
You get a written proposal that spells out the product, the thickness, the areas being treated and the price. If there are two reasonable ways to do the job, we tell you both and explain the trade-off. No pressure, no expiring "today only" pricing.
An install scheduled around you
We book the work at a time that fits your household or your business. Homeowners get a clear picture of how long the crew will be there and what needs to move out of the way. Commercial clients get a schedule that keeps operations running.
Warranty on completed work
When the project is finished, we provide a warranty on the completed work. We will walk you through what it includes before the job starts, not after.
The part people remember: the cleanup
We say it plainly and we mean it: small-town family values show up in how a job site is prepared and how it is left. Before we spray, we mask and protect what needs protecting. Floors, furniture, windows, vents, landscaping and vehicles all get considered. When we leave, overspray, trimmings, old insulation, bags and debris leave with us. The goal is a space that looks like nothing happened except that it is suddenly more comfortable.
That sounds like a small thing. It is not. Insulation work happens in the parts of a building people do not look at every day, and it is easy for a crew to treat those spaces carelessly. We do not.
Fair pricing, honest advice
We would rather lose a job than sell the wrong one. Sometimes the right answer is not spray foam. A well-ventilated attic that just needs more depth may be better served by blown-in insulation. A garage conversion on a tight budget might be a batt job. We will tell you that, because the trust is worth more than the upsell.
What we do
- Spray foam insulation, both open-cell and closed-cell
- Fiberglass batt insulation
- Blown-in insulation
- Insulation removal
We work on homes and commercial buildings alike, sized to the job in front of us.
